Since the Texas Legislature passed landmark reforms in 2003, the Texas homeowners insurance market has stabilized. Because of Texas’ size and weather exposure, we need  to continue to promote policies that encourages companies to do business here, while also ensuring consumers are protected from fraud and other abuses.
